Its not easy to replace youreself not as easy as people make it cuz u have all youre air psi sensors in the back and they dont maych up the exact same way in the new manifold better to replace it the leaks are just going to get worse and worse till orings cant fix them anymore get it done right cuz there is a chance they can screw up youre sensors in the back or the can side of manifold

When I replace my cracked old style manifold with the updated design I took a few pictures before I took any hose and wire off. After you get the old manifold in your hand you go match up each color hose to the matching sensor. Believe me it is not hard at all. Just don't rip out all the hoses before you mark down where they go to then you be fine.

I've replaced several of those o rings, and it worked. Did you find where it leaks? If at fittings, that's the way I would go. Volvo at Alsip carry them. Some dealers don't.

According to volvo that is referred to as the firewall pass-thru as mentioned above. Our municipality have replaced 2 of them now. They crack everywhere as previously mentioned. I tried apoxy on one it got us 6months out of it but had to be replaced any way. Its not a horrible job if your mechanically inclined just mark the lines as the new one will have the air ports in slightly different locations and possibly labeled slightly different.

Firewall plate like smbd else named it, i changed it myself about a month ago. It has a hidden bolt between all those tiny electric wires, so make sure to take it off too.

Those metal collars pull right out with pliars and the orings I matched up at napa auto parts ( since nearest volvo dealer over an hour away)

Only took about 15 mins to replace 3 leaking orings

So just place the o ring around the brass piece that goes inside the plastic air line? Didn't think that would work
