Call the Volvo line, they can give you the code.
-
Thanks. They gave it.
but why they use code? maybe compared with 2004 new radio pretty good, mp3, aux in, sirius, bluetouth(too noisy) but it still crap.
Even idiot will not steal it. -
You'd be surprised. People will steal anything.
-
yes, steal. gps, smartphones, laptops but not factory installed radios.
and most dangerous thing in car - cigarettes. -
People steal anything. Like cigarettes. That's when you take a pack, piss on them, and leave them for the their. He won't be doing that again after that.
-
good advice, but pack not expensive like window glass
-
True!!!! Ha ha ha. Leave it on the step like you forgot it!

Way back when, Volvo had specific radios and when they broke, it was repair or replace, repair, good luck, and replace, very expensive or unavailable, so enterprising individuals came up with a new solution, replace by stealing one from an identical or near enough unit.
I once drove a Volvo that this had happened to, and brought my own portable to listen to when parked, too much noise to listen when moving, anyway. The code is to make a radio unusable in case it was stolen.
