Where is Radio unlock code on new Volvo?

    After battery disconnection radio asks me for security code.
    I have new 2014 VNL 670.
    Old Volvo has sticker with code under ashtray but i cannot find it at new one.

    but why they use code? maybe compared with 2004 new radio pretty good, mp3, aux in, sirius, bluetouth(too noisy) but it still crap.
    Even idiot will not steal it.

    yes, steal. gps, smartphones, laptops but not factory installed radios.
    and most dangerous thing in car - cigarettes.

    People steal anything. Like cigarettes. That's when you take a pack, piss on them, and leave them for the their. He won't be doing that again after that.

    Way back when, Volvo had specific radios and when they broke, it was repair or replace, repair, good luck, and replace, very expensive or unavailable, so enterprising individuals came up with a new solution, replace by stealing one from an identical or near enough unit.

    I once drove a Volvo that this had happened to, and brought my own portable to listen to when parked, too much noise to listen when moving, anyway. The code is to make a radio unusable in case it was stolen.
