That's what i had to do, eventually everything will be a problem, you can change youself and save some money

 

The on board computer will give you a cause and sometimes tell you exactly what it is.

 

Don't forget to keep track of your time, oil changes, repairs, detailing, etc (basically anything that you could pay someone else to do). I charge myself a rate of $40 per hour for anytime that i am working on my truck and can write it off on my taxes. Talk to your accountant about this and they should concur.

 

I have the same problem as the poster on my 670 2006 with fuller 10speed. So I went out and bought a VSS and a harness. But it turns out my truck has two sensors on the back of tranny on two different harnesses. Went to dealer back and the guy says it supposed to be just one, because it shows on their system just one harness for speed sensor. I am not buying it because the harnesses on my truck have besides the actual sensor plugs different plugs for swiches. One for reverse swich, the other for neutral. What to do?
