Truck problem

    Hello , I have 2007 volvo 780 with autoshift,when I driving 60+ mph,my rpm sometimes goes from 1500 to 2000 rpm or just drop to 1300 and number 10 on my gear display blink for sec,and after that everything is fine truck is running ok for another 15-20 min and things start agin,I replace XY Shifters,transmitions harness,all speed sensors but nothing has change. If anybody has any idea what could be problem I would apriciate . Ps. No codes on transmitions disgnostics.

    Thank you very much for help.There is no air leak,Not that I know.but let say if is any,what could be?

    How many miles so do you have the clutch ? sound like your clutch is slipping !

    I just bought this truck 1 month ago.there is 660134 miles on truck.I don't think that clutch was ever replaced before.Thank you

    I had one doing this. It was the clutch actuation servo. I'm told it should be replaced much earlier than the Volvo recommended service interval. If not done it will cause missed gear changes and totally trash the transmission. Good luck. It sounds like you will catch it in time.

    I just dropped off my truck at mechanics to check ,I will update you when mechanics call me.

    Mechanic could't find nothing wrong with clutch.He said Clutch has been replaced.so he is thinking that might be wiring problem and he told me that there is two wires from transmission computer to vehicle ECU that is not sending right information.and he want to replace it those two wires and check if that might solve my problems.

    is the shift tower mounted to the driver seat?if yes,check the wiring harness coming up through the floor behind the seat.the wires break because of the air seat bouncing.good luck.
