all volvo trucks (COE and Conventionals) have fuses in battery box, one for engine ECM cummins (not used with Volvo engine), other for DPF ore DEF aftertreatment system and one for tachograph (in Europe and other countries where logbook is not used).

So, imagine how many volvos got in problems with rusty connections.

Volvos are very picky on voltage, every spring I have my battery connections clean from the starter to the frame to the terminals on the battery. It eliminates all the wacky electronic problems.

    Thank you, cemvolvo.
You just saved my 450$ (shop asked for diagnostic only) and who know haw many for useless parts replacemnt.
Engine warn signals starts on more and more often. Then red stop engine starts flashing for few seconds with no reason. Oil pressure is good, coolant level and voltage. Codes all different from event to event. Shop says it's ECU, need deep diagnostic.
Got your post on TTR and next morning before turn truck to the shop decide to check my electrical system you suggested.
And wires connection to the battery terminals was loose, one negative wire was ready to disconnect. The batteries were not tight sitting and moving. Everything tighten up and no codes.
