I have an 2007 Volvo 670 w/VED 12, low coolant warning pops up and shut down the engine, I also notice coolant in the driver side of the expansion tank please help truck does not overheat

You a coolant leak some where, start with the radiator ( stock radiator it's about that time ) work your way down to the EGR cooler. Also the sensor can go bad in the expansion tank.

If it's not overheating then it's over pressurizing if it's coming out your expansion tank. Possibly a head gasket.
First check your radiator cap and make sure the gasket in it is not all distorted. A bad cap will lower the boiling point. -
Had the same thing on mine a while back. Was losing coolant through the head on the air compressor. Had a crack internally. Replaced compressor head, problem solved.

thanks for the replies,well I took the truck to the dealer. Found out it was the air compressor pushing air into the coolant system.
