Volvo instrumentcluster

    I've got an 07 Volvo 670 and the speaker went out so i opened the cluster and i noticed that someone ziptied a brass nut around the speaker so i tightened it up and the speaker worked for a few minutes then went out long story short I'm trying to see if i can just buy another speaker somewhere or is it manufactured by Volvo so you can't buy one it's flat square and soldered in four places

    A speaker should be a speaker, I'd check to see if you can find a bone yard, I wouldn't buy a new one! You may be able to check a dealer, they may have a "Space Clearin Sale" On that item and you can get a deal on it. I wish you luck.
