I too am having issues with the voltage draining pretty quick... I have a fridge installed and an TriPac APU. I am definitely going to get me a Start Module and was going to install 3 AGM batteries as well. Who did you buy yours through? I found batteriesplus sells them but they are 350.00 At night I am usually running my laptop, till I go to sleep, and air. If it is hot enough, AC and if it is cold enough, heat. The APU kicks on about 20 minutes after it shuts off, which I feel is a little soon. The APU runs for 30/45 mins before it shuts off again. These crap batteries are not that old and I did have them checked recently when my ALT went out. They told me that one had a bad cell. Lately I have been having a problem with my APU. It used to kick on before an audible sounds for low voltage came on but now, it kicks on right after the audible for low voltage. Sometimes it initiates the start but, doesn't start and gives the low voltage code. Most of the time when it does this, I reset and than about 30 seconds goes by and the APU starts. Today I had to actually jump my truck using my reefer because the APU wouldn't start. I realize replacing the lead acid batteries with AGM and installing a Start Module won't fix this problem but, if I ever have a problem with the APU, I won't need a jump to start my truck.

Installed 4 glass mats , cleaned all connections, all is good voltage wise. Can run cpap and bunk heater all night and still have 12.5 v in the am. Fridge was still defrosting over night. Took it out to get it serviced and had it running on my bench to test and grabbed the wire that plugs into the truck. It has a cheap .05 cent fuse holder in line with it. The fuse holder was hot as hell, and 6 inches of wire either side of it as well measured voltage into the line 12.6 after fuse 9.6... Replaced it with a ceramic fuse holder and new fuse, it stayed cold never heating up, put the fridge back in the truck and it runs like a champ. Still have 12.5-12.6 v in the am even after running fridge bunk heater and cpap all night. All this crap for a cheap fuse holder. Can't blame Volvo it's attached to the fridge and is actually in the line all tied up to the fridge you have to remover a zip tie and pull the cable out to find it, just luck I did it and felt the wire hot.

nice! does your truck have a built in fridge? Basically, does it cycle a lot? -
Built-in fridge, microwave, lab top you name it got all the toys, and an APU. Not once I need to idle the truck when it was -20 out side, Those's battery have some good cranking power to them.

I read a lot of bad reviews on Amazon, that is why I was asking...
