2011 Volvo 670 Hood Release Lever.

Trying to open the hood on a 2011 volvo 670 but the hood release lever under the steering column is broken. Is there a another way to open the hood? Sorry for the novice question. Thanks.

Is the handle broken or the cables? Either way you can reach under the plastic inner fender skirt on each side to push or pull the lever. Two people can do it or you can do each side by yourself.
