Can anyone tell me just what functions the three wire pressure switch on the a/c system controls on my 2004 670. The switch is in the pressure line after the receiver dryer. The fan cycles in at a normal pressure of around 325 but the clutch cycles in and out app. every 12 seconds.

Ok. So does it return a signal when the pressure is within a specific range, as not to high and not to low, or is it just monitoring pressure for to high?

I'm not 100% positive, but I think the voltage range is 0-5v.

Run the truck with ac and throw a simple voltage meter on there and take a reading on the signal wire. Maybe you're getting erratic signals..

I had a broken wire between the sensor and the plug on the HVAC box. My ac was not working at all.

If you need to check continuity in the wiring harness.. You need to pull the passenger dash piece.. And check between the sensor and that big plug with colored wires.

    There's only one plug.
