What are my options now with a bad egr valve

I don't think you can talk about that kind of stuff anymore.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, which is a typically situation. But isn't the EGR valve replacement absolutely necessary to keep whatever engine, OP is using, running?
Kind sad we can't figure out a way to get emissions lower without using something like an EGR, but hey- there you have it.

 

I should have been more clear. You can talk about replacing it but I don't think you can talk about deleting it because its emission systems modification.

 

And modifying/pulling out the emissions systems on the newer models is like trying to change Hezbollah's mind about Israel, correct?
Just trying to pickup some information here. Fairly sure I know the answer, would love to have it confirmed.

 

I'm not trying to piss anyone off. As you see any emissions modification posts get deleted. Sucks but thats what happens.

 

It doesn't seem to to me as if the op is asking about deleting. He asked how much to replace the valves that to me is necessary repairs.

 

About 2800 to replace or $7 to block off.
