If the tank is still full an the low warning is shuting/down the eng. CK ELE. conn. at plug in on screw in sensor on tank, buy a new low coolant sensor drain tank again and replace and low coolant sensor.

There is a magnet in the surge tank. Might be sticking. Change the surge tank or try to jar it loose.

Just a thought did u burp the air from the system
If not u may have a vapor lock situation that causes your
Problem otherwise the low water sensor would be my guess -
If it can help i can give you a trick, when this problem occur (low coolant level Warning even though the surge tank is full) after the coolant has been dropped for any reason. . .
Use a big rubber hammer and hit gently the surge tank in different way it works. . . .
The surge tank is built with a dry sensor, the wet float (contain a magnet ring) inside of the surge tank is sliding up and down on a 3/4 inch diameter plastic tube (who contain the dry sensor)
Sometimes some tacky deposit are build up at the bottom of the float stroke and when you drop the coolant the float stay trapped (by tacky stuff) at his lower stroke position and generate a low coolant code.
Also one day i opened up one surge tank with an hole saw to figure out the problem, there is some particule of white sand stuck between the inner bore of the float and the 3/4 diameter plastic tube inside of the surge tank. (The sand particule act like a wedge between the float and the plastic tube and the float cannot move.)
Also i notice this problem is more common if people use radiator stop leak,
