98 Volvo shuts down when turn headlights turned on.

    Shuts down then wipers come but engine is shut down. Put switch in off position and when wipers stop. I can start again. Anyone had this problem or have wiring diagram.

    I actually unplugged wiper switch connector. Then try putting lights on while truck is running. Stills shuts motor down.

    OK. pull back off ing switch an insp. I have bought guts of switch from dealer and replaced to fix headlights before taking 1/2 dash apart.
