98 Volvo shutting down

    Was starting With lights off but when id turn on headlamps truck would shut down.unplugged wiper and light switchs and no change. Now wipers come on with lights off, unplugged and won't start at all. Turns over but no start
    ..NÉED WIPER RELAY LOCATION ....PLEASE HELP

    What did the ELE. contact part of the key switch look like when you pulled the back off? the back of headlight switch will have the same prob. conn. The wipe switch has delay built into the back of switch that goes bad after time and can cause prob. The dealer has been known to replace all the switches key, headlight, wiper,cruz. control off/on switchs at same time for problems like this and no/one at shop would tell cust. what was the real deal.

    I called they help with diagrams. Unplugged boy headlight switch and wiper switch. Found I have power in left headlamp center wire connector. Nor light bulb in it either.
