Ac Cluch not engaging

    Un hooked Ac clutch and put a test light on it and no power .Getting Ac fault clutch not engaging . can someone help

    These questions never come up in the winter. Probably low on refrigerant. When the pressure drops to a certain level, a pressure switch in one of the lines, disables the system.

    yes recharged twice still no power to the cluch.

    Might be the switch in the dash. Sorry I'm not much of a mechanic.

    yep fuses ok put a test light on them.

    Might have a wiring fault on the way to the connector, taken a look at the wiring up to the connector yet? I've seen the connectors work themselves loose from the wires, so check close to the connector first and see if you've got voltage.

    I know this doesn't help, but I can't think of a more trouble some accessory in our vehicles. I think the biggest problem with A/C systems is non-use in the winter months. I had a friend that ran the A/C several times a week in winter,(mostly to remove fog on the inside, which I believe new systems do anyway in defrost mode) and never had any trouble.
