I had a leak and a high ac pressure sensor fault in the ac, repaired the leak and replaced the sensor, the 5v fault and the high prssure sensor fault went away, was testing to find out if the leak was properly repaired (O ring top of condenser), and went to turn the ac fans off to conserve battery and the panel was nonfunctional, :biggrin_2551:no lights on the recirculation or A/C buttons, of which were working just prior, no fan, no ac, no defrost etc... all was functional just prior if only not blowing cold air as it was not yet charged again. check for new faults on the instrument panel diagnostics, system says transferring data then operation failed, the climate control system isn't communicating any more or even energizing. verify all fuses are good in the dash center... no issues there... unable to restore basic fan operation at that time...:biggrin_2556: couple of days later took out batteries to charge and check, was putting batteries back in and the front door lights flickered and then didn't come back on. verify fuses again, no fuses burned out but all the fuses for lights accesories outlets arent energised, a whole row of fuses.... ?!? the fans and outlets in the rear and cabin lights work but not the dash outlets or the door and map lights don't work nor are their circuits at the fuses energized. the mirror and windows work, the radio is fine...

I dont know what is going on or if the isues are related, Does someone have a diagram of the basic wires? or some experience with a similar issue? I dont know if i am missing a fuse and relay box or something, or what? um? IDK....:biggrin_25524:

Find the grounds on frame and under cardbord or carpet at base of cab near foot pedals a nut an bolt hold grond wires to firewall, take all conn. at BATT. and clean with wire brush at grounds and poss. side, look and follow wires to frame clean all of them while looking for the broken wire that will get it working !

i'm pretty sure your truck is equipped with a low voltage disconnect module,it's usually in the fuse panel to the far left ,it looks like a turn signal flasher and it usually has a yellow sticker on the top, when your batteries are low due to a faulty alternator or bad batteries this module will start shutting down different components in your truck such as power outlets ,a/c blower ,interior lights etc, that are not essential for you to make it to the next repair shop ,make sure your alternator is putting out the right voltage, the batteries are good and all your powers and grounds are clean and secured, and in regard to the fuses you said that all related fuses are good, make sure all fuses are good and make sure the fuses that are not installed are not related to anything else,if you have doubts about the fuses that are not installed (empty spots) check if you have two contact pins or one,if you have two put a fuse in it and see what happens (nothing is going to burn so don't worry),check it out and see what happens.

OK, I took off the smaller gauge ground wire at the battery inspected it and reinstalled it, this brought the front system back up, but did not cause the ac panel to energize, light up or other wise function, so I continued with cleaning the ground and positive connections from the battery to the cabin and frame, I was unable to get to the starter to clean those connections. while I am hopeful this will make the charging system more efficient, this ultimately has not yet appeared to effect the ac failure issue, still no fans, panel lights or diagnostic communication. the bunk fans still work btw

There are no empty fuse spots that also have contact pins in them. I have verified all of the fuses by testing one side then the other for voltage with a test light. Yes it has a low voltage disconnect module, I have not identified it positively as yet but it seems to be working, I haven't figured out how to test it for partial failure... I have checked the charging voltage but have no ammeter to test that, It charges at 13.7 and some times as much as 14 but not often, what range is acceptable?

And thanks for your posts, its appreciated

Alternator is charging fine , you can pull the low voltage disconnect out and cycle the key a couple of times , after that is done see if your cigarette lighter works , if it does , then your low voltage disconnect is been bypassed , when done checking , just plug it back in .
