Hey guys I just got this truck today and my question is is there a way to have the air blow cold in the bunk without the truck running? On the menu in the sleeper it says "off" I can't figure out how to turn it on and have blow cold without the truck running! If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it!

AC needs the AC compressor running to get cold. The AC compressor is attached to the motor and driven by a fan belt. Hence, the engine has to be running.
I'm not sure about that particular truck but some do have a bunk override switch up front. -
ummm, read the manual? when my truck is off, nothing works, like in your car. you got an APU or something?
-
I can't find a manual and no apu the problem with running it, is the idle shut down
-
guess your out of luck ,I think.
-
do you have idle-free system or thermoking ?
-
To combat idle shutdown pop your Trlr brake and leave the tractor pushed in when you park. That's why you see trucks parked lights off but daytime running lights are on.. Lol
