Oil pressure

    Have a 2001 d12c , oil pressure light comes on when going up hill or come to sudden stop.
    oil level is good, had put new sensor last year.
    Also gas pedal does not respond sometimes. Have to restart truck to get pedal working.
    noticed my injector harness it full of oil,

    Only happens few times in a day
    Any ideas what could be the problem

    Oil soaked electrical a problem, Maybe fix the leak and clean the engine compartment

    Common fault with the d12c all the way though to the d13a is injector harness leaking back oil , what we use to do at Volvo was drill a small hole in the plug at the cylinder head clean out then silicone the plug shut.. If u remove rocker cover and repair the plug with a new o-ring the injector wiring harness WILL break as plastic coating has gone brittle due to oil.. As for you low oil pressure I would start at the oil filter housing as there is a oil pressure relief valve that the spring become weak and give you low pressure on load and coming down to idle..
