When I asked volvo what bulb type the fogs and driving lamps were they only had a volvo part number. I called Sylvania to hopefully get a h1 or 9005 type cross match but they said it's a volvo specific bulb.
Does anyone know what bulb type could fit in there from experience? I seen a guy have hid in em before so it's been done. I am looking to put some led bulbs in mine because I work offroad and the filiments don't last with the vibration.
anyone swap the fog lights with different bulbs?

belive me, volvo does not make bulb. Bulb type is marked on lamp cover usually
9005 is very popular bulb in EU and USA, so I belive it is 9005. For fog lamos 9005, H7 and H1 are used. -
Sorry I didn't mean volvo made it. I think Sylvania does but it they said it doesn't cross with any other bulb. That would obviously be because the plugs different but that's easy to change. I just need one to fit in the socket.

plz post a pic. sometimes I see european H1, H7 bulbs in US trucks... So I need a picture

In EU this bulb is called HB3 as I remember

I think the bulb number for the fog lights is 880 type it the three sides of the light of the bulb that fits inside that housing, you can't get an H11 or 9006 light bulb in the housing because of the size.
Only way is to put in HID's -
Hid bulbs are the same socket wise. If a h1 hid bulb fits then a h1 halogen or led will too.
