    Thanks John 41, this truck is doing its own thing. For the last three thousand miles it has been acting up. Two hours ago I stop to fill the DEF I had half of tank, right now this truck is running so smooth like before the vibration arise. All I did was filled the DEF. Any ideas?

    I don't know much, I'm just a trucker not a technician, my truck is 2008 with D13, i have 1,330,000 miles ,i had some similar issues .
    The injector cups are the common problem for this motors , but usually you loses prime pressure , long cranking before start: I had 3 bad injectors leaking and was not giving any codes, only hard start long cranking.
    I'm thinking maybe bad EGR valve, because I replaced it twice ,have to do it again, is leaking oil, and doesn't always throw codes , last time got stuck and totally chocked my motor, was vibrating,misfiring I was sure I have a busted piston;
    another similar problem was bad turbo actuator , when i pressed the acceleration got a delay in engine response ,until slowly got derated. The actuator cost about 1000$, I replaced it twice ,before replacing whole turbo last year @ 1.1 mil miles, but throws turbo codes, and watch, some volvo genius are going to try to sell you the whole turbo, about 4800$ installed; also check the differential presure sensor and 2 Bosh boost sensors on EGR pipe, get bad readings after awhile clogged with carbon .

    Thanks nasriza, yes I would very much appreciated if you can provide all the info to do it myself. I was skeptical because some rumors about doing the overhead was very different and needed it all kind of different tools. also, that once you remove the injectors it will required reprogramming the ECU before starting the engine. The only info that I was aware of was that if you change one new injector, The number on the injector body has to be giving to the person reprogramming the computer.
