How many miles on engine? How many on turbos? When was your last overhead done? It is from excessive crank case pressure most likely.... I had this issue too, blown turbos, and worn valve guides were my issue.

795000 on engine. Just bought truck so don't know history. Good oil pressure doesn't use oil. Half gallon low on way12000 since changed. Someone said egr system could be dirty causing pressure. I don't know hope it not internal problems

you are getting a lot of blowby,,,possibly you have a high mileage engine.

On isx? The isx in my last truck only did it before the turbo blew.... my cat did it when the valve guides and turbos were getting ready to let go..

If you have the know how, I pulled the turbo piping amd checked for oil in the turbo compressor and turbine... Check for shaft play as well.

And like Pahrump stated, mabey the engine has high run/idle time causing large blow by.... do you do oil samples?

No oil samples. Do idle a lot. With that much blow by wouldn't. It use lot of oil

It would burn a bit of oil..... that is why I was leaning toward the turbo/valve guides.... that problem for me showed a slight increase in oil usage... but was not near enough for me to worry..... hopefully someone else can throw their knowledge in to help more

And yes egr could be leaking... but that would be showing other issues from what I remember.... and i don't think that causes enough crankcase pressure to saturate the ccv filter.
