Fuel pump symbol

    I have recently been getting a check light with pic of a fuel pump on display of my 04 670. It does it intermittently and does not affect the truck. The fuel pump is maybe 1.5 yrs old and I recently had the Trk serviced at Volvo in Atlanta last week. It started a week before the PM. Starts easy mpg still good also. D12 motor. Any suggestions?

    It could just be a faulty sensor. You might check to see if there is a loose connection around the fuel pump. If nothing is obvious you might have a mechanic hook up to your ECM. That should easily identify the problem and should not cost very much.

    Yeah I am thinking a sensor also. I will check wiring tomorrow. Thanks
