Volvo d13 engine fault code

Sounds like it spun the 3226 female inter gear 13

Sorry, I just had to do that.

Never had that one but in general if it's got oil pressure and not overheating and not derating the engine, it's probably ok to get to the shop. Sometimes lights come on for the craziest reasons. Try stopping the engine for a couple minutes for a reset. Check around under the hood, wiring especially. Then get to a shop when you can.

 

Well...I drove the female inter gear as far as it would go...

I've only had issues with the Volvo once and it wasn't a big deal. Got it to reset on it's own. Now a freightshaker?!!!
OMG they never go off and the service guys say fuggagetaboutit

 

Faulty nox sensor. Get it looked after pretty soon or it will start acting up

 

A 3226 means it is not seeing a signal for the NOx sensor. So it could be a connector loose, bad wire or bad sensor.

 

I'm having a similar problem.. but mines spn 3471 fmi 14. Is this the doser valve. And will it hurt it to drive? Thanks for any help.

 

What did you do? How they fixed it??
I replaced the sensor and it's doing the same after 100 miles!
Please Help!

 

I get 3471 alot. Could be a few things, even a simple as an air leak. Once volvo plugs in a laptop it will give more information what it may be.
