Rough idle problem d12

    Injectors good. Starts fine. Runs great with a load. 7-8 mpg. But idles very rough, when coming to a rolling stop and getting back in the throttle it bucks and shakes and I have seen puffs of white smoke twice. I had the starter replaced a few days ago and this problem appeared after that. Any ideas?

    1st egr cooler(is it using any...), 2nd egr valve (could be sticking), 3rd wiring to the egr valves

    any codes in the ecm.....?

    Yes, as a matter of fact it is losing water. I'll have to check into that. Although my valves are non functional and supposed to be closed. Valve wiring is no a problem, I have those cut. No codes.
