Volvo A/C blower access

    Please help me to reach a/c blower. How to remove all this dash panels. Two screws are visible, some under floor mat but panel won't move.
    AC is working and have cool air only when truck is with speed. Tomorrow have to cross NY City. Please don't let me die in overheated cab.:help:

    I don't know how to get it out but once you do you will have to pull the fan blade off the old motor to put on the new one. The fan is like a cage and not that strong and bends easy. I ended up having to buy a new one. If you warp the fan it will wobble and make noise

    I cant get to the ac unit blower under dash of the passenger side. Just to check wire connection. It was working then quit after road bumps then start again. Now it not blowing air. How you get there???

    Remove speaker. There is a bolt behind it. Undo it. Remove threshold and grab handle. Remove all those bolts you've mentioned. On left top of bottom part there are 2 snaps attaching it to center panel. Both panels should come off together. Unclip cover below aluminum bracket, and your fan should just slide out.

    Got it out today somehow without undo underspeaker bolt. Some hand bruises of course. What to say about Volvo engineering design? Forum rules:biggrin_25513:!!!!!!
    blower motor is dead.

    Make sure you get those two big resistors for the motor otherwise you be placing them about a month down the road.

    to remove top of dash u need to remove pass side handle. but remove it fully, becouse if u unscrew top bolt only, u can try to use it and handle beats your head) LOL
