I'll put it this way. Put the price of the cheapest HID parts you can find, then cables parts, then high beam same thing, then find a way to trick the system not to give you fault codes in the dash. Then calculate the time you spent to figure everything and see if is worth the hassle.
I paid 400$ to Steve for his system, I spent 45 minutes to install and I was good to go. No guessing, no figuring, no modifying anything and no wasting time.
I ain't advertising for anyone but I tell u somethin': after driving this truck for 8 years with the crappy Volvo lights I wouldn't go back to that ever again.ahab Thanks this. -
I buy the good PIAA bulbs, NEVER clean the lenses with any glass cleaner or washer fluid ( ammonia clouds the lenses) use a cleaner uv protector made for lexan motorcycle windshields daily, spray on wipe off with clean SOFT paper towel. My stock lights are awesome

The biggest problem is not in your lenses.. But in your reflectors.
25(2)+2 Thanks this. -
Run H9 bulbs instead of the H11's. Cut the small tab off on the socket and it'll fit. Get about 15 more watts.

My low beam doesn't have a reflector like that. It looks more like a 25 watt mini halogen bulb you'd have in your house. 2011 670

You have a projector for your low beam. But if you take the projector lense off there is a reflector bowl like on the pic above.

Got my new ones at volvo for 270 a pop. Can see like never before..even at nite with just the park lights on the amber bulb is brite as heck.
