i got a 2011 670 and noticed the other day the reverse light not working. put new sensor in on the tranny and nothing. did volt test and found out there is no power going to the pig tail. checked the fuses under the dash and all are fine. is there anywhere else the fuse can be at?

Maybe your wire is broke.
-
first of all check LCM for fault codes, if no fault code - just check reverce switch, connector and wiring from tranny to cab, if u see LCM reverce light fault code - check taillamp and frame taillamp wiring for damage, usually in drives area
-
checked lcm for code. no codes. new sensor on tranny. going to trace the wiring to see if i have a break somewhere.

solved the problem. pig tail plug was corroded inside. clipped it off and spliced in a new one with nice new led backup light to match the brake lights.

Yep) cool, really it is good with electronic light control that u can know what is bad? switch circuit ore taillamp/trailer wiring!

With Key in ON position, is there power in the reverse light or do i have to put it in reverse gear ? I took out the reverse no power in the wires. Could bad reverse switch cause this issue ?
thank you!
