    I have a 2009 780 485hp d13 830k with ishift and when im just idling the gallons per hour reads .06 but after about a min
    you feel it idling ruff and the it GPH go up to 1.3gph. if I just put alittle pressure on the gas pedeal it will drop back to .06 for another
    minute then go back up and stay there all night.

    and dose anyone know were to get a wiring diagrame for all the wiring?
    I have a low nox downstream code but it looks like a new sensor in there no CEL but the code is in there

    Did you try to use the pto , set the idle at higher RPM, maybe the idle is set @ too low rpm for outdoor temperature; I set it according with the oil pressure; @ 500-600 rpm my oil pressure is too low,( well I use synthetic), soo I rev it up around 750-800 rpm to bring closer to 60, if is cold outside even higher; But this new motors don't like idling;

    Sometimes this is normal it's just the difference between having the egr open and closed it does exactly what u guys describe but it cycles at idle when the truck warms up it runs the egr more I don't think u have a problem any codes besides the nox code

    no other codes but its using 1.3 GPH till I just touch the throttle peddle
    and I called the guy that owned the truck and he said that he changed the sensor twice and when he took it to Volvo
    they told him that it was built in late 2009 and some of the sensors were from 2010
    and that its nothing to worry about. sound like bull but he has no reason to lie about it

    It may be using less or more gph the computer is making a guesstimate there is nothing measuring actual flow .. That's why most dash displays are off compared to pen and paper a gallon plus a hour is normal on class 8 diesels

    Hey! Have ever figure out what was the problem with your idle did like that? Mine does the same thing.09 820k D13 13sp. Did replace head with injectors couple month ago and that thing disappeared for a while. Now it started doing that again when idling. Appreciate your help

    The reaction you describe is the warm hold mode on Volvo engine. Controled by the engine Ecu based on engine temp. The turbo position change and the engine timing to increase engine load to keep engine temp at a certain level. Ben
