Just wondering on the 05 and up vnl headlights, is there glue holding the lense cover on or just those tabs that are all around it?

How about baking in oven? Lots of people on car forums do to get rid of yellow amber and give cars European look :)

That's kinda what I'm getting at. On my one truck I swapped out the halogen projector with a bi xenon d2s projector and hid kit from hhrvlighting.com but that stupid volvo lips on the side of the projector still gives me blind spots so on my other volvo I'm thinking of a full fx-r bixenon in the high beam spot and for that I have to open er up.

    I did.

to take apart volvo headlamp u need good heat gun. and use heating to assembly

I did it many times with US and Euro Volvos, to solve dim problem

If u take headlamp apart - remove reflectors and send them to sivering shop, especially low beam projector.

if U need, I can send some photos of Volvo, Ford, Mercedes headlamps

You'd think they'd have redesigned those crappy headlights after 10 years to get better stock performance.

You don't need to buy a new truck. Order them from parts for $1600. Available for 2007+ models

    browndawg Thanks this.
