01 volvo 780 truck with volvo12 engine wanna swap to cummmins n14

    Hey guys wanna change my volvo 12 engine on my 2001 volvo 780 truck to cummins n14 i got couple questions
    1 on my cummins engine theres different engine harness that goes inside the truck on left driver side near steering wheel truck and cummings 14 harnesses are different i cant connect them how do i connect them is there adaptor i can buy?
    1 would there be any oyher problems when swapping volvo 780 engine to cummins n14

    please tell me advices how to swap it

    Mawk industries will have a harness plug and go. They are expensive but worth it if you can't figure it out on your own. Never dealt with the Volvo engine but motor mounts may be different also.

    it's talked about on the radio quite often. be cheaper to buy a truck with motor you want. your asking for nothing but problems retro fitting to a different motor.

    along with harness and motor mounts. you'll have cooling system, exhaust, ecm, you name it. it'll have to be changed.

    Unless you are a mechanic, have a shop and experience , leave it alone. Swap the truck, sell it, whatever. Not worth the $$$ and headaches it would cost to change engines.
    I have done several older, mechanical type swaps, before all the electronics, and they were nightmares at times.
