im trying to find a cheap vcad system. so I can look up codes and reset my steering wheel center. so I can get the TCS light off and turn my speed up
I found a few on ebay for around 1000 for laptop and vcad but I want to make sure it will work. who out there bought
a system like that? and were did you get it from?

got black VCADS box that you hook up to the computer and to the truck.. it was $600(?) i think and it was from China ..

it came with some hacked software that I couldn install so then I bought VCADS separately
and had guy installed it for me.. still the VCADS box didnt work

    so what I did was:

    - bought NEXIG USB LINK off the internet - it worked with VCADS soiftware that I bought
on ebay for $150-200 (dont remember exactly) and had the seller to install it for me REMOTELY

You are going to need laptop with windows XP - bought it on craigslist - used one for $100 over a year a go

What I recommend is to buy a computer with whole bunch of diagnostic programs already installed on it -
for the sum of 500-750$ you will get VCADS, Cummins, CAT and Detroit diagnostic programs ETC

forgot to mention .. this computer with all necessary programs, you can find on ebay as well

    Good luck!

Well I have a more cost effective way for u if u have a steering angle sensor then u have a bendix abs ecu if you're volvo is newer then 06 u have it for sure. So go in Google search and u can download bendix software for free that will hook up to you're abs and calibrate you're steering angle sensor or any other sensor in the abs system it actually really user friendly

If you anywhere around th e chicago area I could calibrate it for u, did u recently replace this sensor or replace steering shaft cuz unless u did either one of those chances are yo u re going to need a sensor as well they don't just go out of calibration on their own
