where is the speed senor on a 2004 vnl780 and how to change it?

    Need to change the speed senor on a 2004 vnl780.... Where is it located ? N how do I change it

    Look for it on tail of trans. 1bolt holds it on, unplug wire pull it out replace an plug back in

    some version-2 volvos got two speed sensors.. one for vecu, one for engine ecm. but with cummins only

    Those speed sensors have to be calibrated I think. I replaced mine mine and it still is erratic. I bought a gps and said problem solved. This was probably 7 yrs ago.

    what's wrong with calibration? wrong speed?

    Volvo usually has wiring problems, becouse they use multiplexing for thinner wires, they try to save cooper
