Some assembly required. .. VNL780

Well guys i decided to go with the 2003 VNL770 (780) whatever it is instead of owing 18k and paying 1k a month for the 2008 Kenworth. The Volvo was driven from dallas to its current location, then the machnic decided to overhaul the 15L Cummins ISX 450st2, in the middle of the job the poor guy was working on another truck and the engine slipped on him and sadly he passed away. So im getting this 2003 volvo, with the Cummins and autoshift tranny that is actually in decent shape for 3 1/2k. I should have it back on the road in a couple months since i gotta keep driving and cant put all my time into it...wish me luck

Well ive been to a couple of shops, everybody says that at 3500 bucks, that 2003 volvo is a deal... im going to go ahead a do everything i can to the engine before i drop it in... is it wrong that im going to enjoy this? Lol ive always love machanics, i used to do this cause i enjoyed it and now ima built my own truck persay.. well i just got me some new tires yesterday and recieve the title today... ill keep posting for updates
