The funnest part is when I did the clutch on Thursday and Friday (2 days due to lack of parts) and oil coolers on saturday. All in Minneapolis. .... 2k miles from home.
Luckily my uncle has his shop put there
There's Oil in my coolant, but no coolant in oil! 2007 VNL670 w ISX

Also, if you have the extra cash to spare check ebay for the shop manuals. It's 3 volumes, and thousands of pages. It covers everything - troubleshooting, assembly, disassembly. It's a #### good investment even if you never do any work to your own truck. At least you'll know how to not get screwed at a shop...I think the manual was $250-$300...not sure

I was gonna say bro it's mighty cold in Minneapolis right now...Glad you had a shop to work in. when it rains I'm SOL as far as getting any work done when I'm down

if there is oil coming out of the blow by tube on the lhs of the engine be sure to change the filter in the housing.if it leaks a lot you have internal issues.if u have oil in the coolant.first make sure its not fuel.thats more likely.change all the heater hoses to blue silicone with black inside.and use clamps for silicone hoses only no c clamps.as poorly as this sounds change change and change anything that needs it

I've spent all day flushing without end in sight. Knew something must be wrong.Your post about over tigthening made me realize where I must have gone wrong. Thank you! Just unsure now whether to take all apart and buy all new o ring/ gaskets or if properly doing torque will be safe to leave those one on. Any help is appreciated I'm at a loss at this point. Thanks
