Will trade my Volvo for International. Really hard to do any engine maintenance on VOLVO. You have to remove those fenders over steer tire to reach something on the engine. It's requires more time for mechanic, more money from your valet. Swedish design IF YOU WANNA PEE TAKE SHOES OFF
Center of gravity not lower then any another truck but cab suspension is really soft and cab has huge swing from side to side. It will make you sick in Iowa on I-80 when it windy. It's always windy in Iowa. Headlight is real CRAP. What else? Oh!!!! Be ready for few and very expensive dealership if you got any problem with cab computer, VD engine, Volvo transmission. Nobody wants(can't) to work with it.
If you still consider to buy one don't forget to sticker VOLVO on the cab roof like all guys from Chico

just want to add.... volvo has the safest cab "safety rating" the cab is steel... i saw a 780 barrel roll truck and tralier on I80.... the fiberglass roof was gone but the cab was intack and the driver was standing by the cop car talking to the cop..!

I have a 04 670. I bought it in 06 with 530k on it. It has 1.43 mill on it now. Normal maint done to it and the volvo 465 still runs strong. I did egr valves 1 time and changed turbo at 1.2 mill. Only had overhead done at 1.2. It does everything GOOD. I would not trade it for ANY OTHER TRUCK PERIOD!! Mine has air ride front so it does take time to get use to the feel of it but no trucks ride compares to volvo and there is no such thing as not being able to get in a hole. These trucks turn on a dime.
