    I think we only have one Volvo here they been making since late 90s only changed plastic cab is the same. n14 the best

    2014 vnl 780 xe13.

    Ishift is hands down the best auto in the market, the xe package can have you getting fuel mileage numbers on par with the cascadia evolution but with the volvo you get more bunk space, loads more cabinet space, a bloody kitchen table, subwoofer and the biggest fridge on the market.

    Volvos safety rating is unmatched and volvos "vest" stability is pretty awesome as well.

    Hmm. i have a used 2007, Cummins 500HP. and I think it's been good to me. I think I have had issues, but, I don't think any more than what is to expect. I try to stay on top of it's maint. and replace what needs to be replaced before it could cause a large tow bill.

    So why would you do that???

    Volvos last just as long as any other truck. Unless you have owned one and driven one, Comments are not accepted. Lol.

    This is my 2nd one I have driven 1st 1 I have owned. I drove a Kenworth T660 from the time it was brand new and I didn't have an ounce
    of problems out of it. Given, I took care of it. (Well, for got turbo went out at 450K and hose blew off shortly after we got it ,but, other than that, it was a great truck. I just didn't like the interior.

    My Volvo is comfortable. I wish I could buy another one. I like the power, fuel mileage is close to 7 mpg average. I wish I could change the tranny and gear ratio, so she could pull better on hills and I think i would be a little better MPG than what I have.

    Would like a Workstation and space for a TV (Actually I would like a 780, but for what I do, I think It's a little too big.)

    I've run one and owned another. I ran an '05 430 with a Volvo engine and i had an '07 670 with an ISX on a L/P. The '05 had 850k on it and i never had an issue with it. The '07 was a repo and it sat for a year an a half before i got it and that was another story. 450k miles and within the first 40k i did brakes, seals, air lines, valves, injectors, transmission & clutch, U-joints, turbo, and more. I ended up giving it back and 8 months later, something happened and shoved a rod through the block. I was skeptical about the ISX from the get go, and yeah i credit alot of issues to the previous owner, but i have never had good luck with the ISX's, and i've run about 6 of them in various models of trucks.

    The interior is the interior and a truck is a truck, but I would like experienced information on the D11, D13, and D16 engines and the 12 speed auto trans that they run, what kind of issues with these that i could expect and the longevity of the components and fuel economy with info on the weights and lanes traveled.. I'm not looking for insight from people that have opinions that have never owned or run these. That is not helpful and i don't need people bashing or glorifying cummins or cat.

    1998-2002. Engines - N14, Pre EGR ISX (Euro-2) and D12C ore pre EGR D12D.

    And of course old, good N and F-series with injection pump engines
