I know that these conversion have been done as long as you have clutch pedal. Has anyone done this conversion and is willing to share with me what he did with the range valve and how to dissable the neutral switch and get rid of the transmission computer???

It was done to my truck. 10 speed auto shift with clutch pedal was converted to manual. Payed $2000. There is mechanic in chicago area who is very good at this.

    SBdizel Thanks this.

You will need to change the Top Plate and Shifter to a Manual 10 Speed. The Neutral Safety Switch and Computer need to be rewired correctly or you will burn up the transmission. if you are in California there is a Mechanic I know that has done dozens of conversions for around $1500.

No, the shop is no longer in business.

What area do you live around, I may know or can help you find a shop that does conversions?

Educate me here. What is the reasoning and benefit of making this change? That truck was engineered to operate with an autoshift transmission. I've shifted pretty much every transmission there is in nearly 40 yrs. I can use mine as an auto or manual by simply pushing 1 button.
