2006 Volvo vnl 670 got 890000 mi Cummins ISX 13 spd, I was going down the road and noticed multiple electrical symptoms, the big one is batteries are not being charged past 12.7 v and as soon as I shut the engine off the low voltage alarm goes off. I can get the truck jump started and it drives just fine, at idle the oil pressure drops but when I put a load on the engine it picks up to normal.
I thought the alternator was causing this by not charging batteries up, after swapping for a good alternator the problem is still there, voltage drops to 10.0 v right after truck is shut off.
Tomorrow I am getting new batteries.
These are the codes I have
Engine ECU:

Hmm. Might not be the same, but worth a shot. I was getting low/odd gauge readings in my 2006 Century, turned out to be the main cab ground to the frame. The frame side was good, but the cab side was corroding the aluminum where the bolt went thru the floor boards near the firewall.
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
Go along the battery positive cable if touching frame check isolation and connection to the fuses. It should be two fuses 125 amp for negative cable and positive cable located by the battery box covered with rubber. Starter cables should be checked too.

If you don't have 1 or more bad batteries i'm suspecting ground problems.

disconnect all batteries. and let truck sit for some hours
check voltage on every battery. Seems to me u got one bad battery that drains power from other -
Zemlyak just get a better truck... Volvo is not reliable truck. Had it for about 6 month, said never again...

I have Volvo. Really I have volvo, but not Version-2, previouse one, with D12C.
There are some unusual for German ore US truck features, but IMO truck is very comfortable for driver -
Its a starter truck, just got new batteries. Haven't had a chance to do anything else. I just went through the starter wires and cleaned all contacts. I guess tomorrow I jump start the truck and let it run for a while than start checking wires to batteries. And I just put new fuses in.
