Audio install 05 VNL questions

Hi all thanks for the great forum. I have read here that a Blaupunkt cd player is plug and play install in place of the factory cassette radio. I bought a double din Pioneer FH_X700 cd radio and had a couple of questions.

Will this radio work with this truck? Anyone running a radio similar? Will l need any adapters to install this? Or is it just a standard radio install as in just pull the factory unit and bottom under radio storage plate and mount new unit? I have only worked with cars so just need to know if l will need anything special to get it done. Thanks.

 

Yeah we used a leftover Volvo to Panasonic harness we had. Had to cut off the connector and match wires manually. Thanks for the help!
