Found it on truck trader. Close approximation of what I'm looking for. Price seems a little high or that pretty close to a fair ask price? Hard to find resale value on stuff this old

Hi Brandonpdx, IDK, for a couple more grand, you could get the Pete and jump 7 years. Both have a lot of miles, but the Pete looks nicer. Funny, years ago a million miles was almost unheard of, now, it's the norm. Like cars, now, 100K is the norm.

Dependable Cummins N14 pre emissions , The older Volvo trucks had less problems. Short wheel base for east cost runs. It looked pretty clean for 99/800,000mi. What transmission?

good truck for short runs, maneuverability, light, dependable engine, but for long hoal you need bigger sleeper

I don't go far...mostly just out to Columbus and back to NJ so 1 or 2 nights at a time is usually all I do. Huge double bunk sleepers not necessary and I travel light.
Got a 9 speed. Maybe a 9/13 convertible don't know. Not a deal breaker anyway. Not sure about the rear ends or wheel/tire combo. Decent amount of motor for a little rig like that though. That had to have been one of the last run of N14 motors because I know they were already making ISX's in 99
