2007 Volvo D12 loosing power during acceleration

    Good morning I have major issue with power loss or boost loss. While driving under high boost for about 10 seconds I start to lose boost pressure resulting in power loss.
    When I stop to check if the vehicle is emitting any codes there are inactive codes that state a high temperature reading in the egr cooler. The code seems to happen every time the boost pressure falls while full boosting. My shop has replaced the egr cooler both egrs and egr cooler temp sensor and I am still having the issue. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Mine did the same thing. Turned out to be bad turbo. I would pull the front housing off and make sure there aren't any broken blades. Egr is getting too hot because of not enough air flow

    Thanks for the reply. I'm going to have them look at the turbo in a day or so I will let you know what the end result is. Thanks again...

    Look at the epg behind the turbo Volvo issues this to help increase exhaust pressure when needed make it flow quicker it's located right behind turbo it also serves the purpose of you're first position on you're engine brake and it is also used to make you're engine warm up quicker the epg solenoid could be acting up or the epg valve could be bad

    Hey buddy can u help i instal same kit you did but my egr was bad before installing this my buddy installed same kit his truck more power better fuel millage but his egrs was working when he installed this kit mine is same no power nd those cross over pipes that goes on intake manifold are gettin hot like there is still exhust flow through them so is it still possible they are stock open what else could i weld or shot thaks
