Need help on engine gauge D12D

Engine oil gauge stays on middle while key on driving position. Once engine starts it moves to the high end. Is it something wrong with engine or just dash problem? D12D 2004

Engine oil has leaked down the loom and into the oil pressure sensor. Senor needs to be replaced as well as the loom.
