Used Volvo sites

Stay away from Arrow truck sales.

I only heard 1 success story with their trucks.. and many bad ones.

1)Guy sells them a truck with 1.1million miles. Comes back in couple weeks to see if they sold it.. Just out of curiosity. They are advertising the truck as having 700k miles. Wait.. what?

2) My buddy bought a cascadia with a dd15... 512k miles on the clock. Truck made it 700 miles... and motor started knocking. towed it home. took the oil pan off. one of the rod bolts was hand tight. Why? who knows. but truck is getting a new crank and rod.

theres many more..


There are a lot of places that are more trust worthy.. Take your money else where.

I bought my last truck from Arrow ,Mississauga Ontario; actually I picked the truck from their website and they brought it in Canada from Houston ,Tx; this was in Dec 2003, and I bought a volvo 770/2001 ex US express truck,420k miles, 50k $; the serice and finance was ok, I had some warranty left on motor and they put 10x new Michelin and all new brakes; plus 30 days return policy. I doubt they do this ilegal turn back odometer stuff: they are big, i understand kind of Volvo 2nd hand dealers, my truck was financed by Volvo. The truck was not bad, i sold it with original Detroit motor 1.1 mill miles, but the auto transmission was a pain.

 

Maybe it's a California thing...
