    Uh-oh … a new panic …

I generally know my way around computers and using websites, but this one's got me stumped.I'm so frustrated right now that I'm ready to throw this desktop right out into the middle of the street !!!

I followed this link so kindly provided by ninetofive – www.drive4walmart.com– which default redirects me to here: http://jobs.walmart.com/careers/otr-driver-jobs?ss=paid– so I fill in the Country, State, City and Category fields for the search box, and wind up on a page that shows the listing I'm interested in. That's it, other than some happy stuff like Minimum Qualifications, Sign Up for Job Alerts, Useful Links. No link to apply, though. The Driver Jobs link at bottom right of the page takes me right back to where I began!

So I tried going to the Site Map. The Driver Jobs link takes me right back to where I started. From the Site Map again, I tried clicking Application Help(FAQ). I chose the last option – “Q: I'm having issues applying online. Who can I contact for help?” I clicked the link for Transportation. OK, cool – create an account, which I did. That took me to a login page here:

Welcome plus a happy paragraph at the top left of the page. Below that is a “Search Openings” link that takes you to a search page, which doesn't seem to be working. So OK, I'll just go ahead and log in.

Oh, my – what the hey isthis??? No place to apply, just Search Openings (doesn't work), Job Submission Communications, Job Submission Status, Assessments, Event Invitations, Edit Your Profile, Resume/CV Manager, Search Agent Manager, Job Cart, Candidate Portal, Saved Drafts, Log Out. No way to apply, though.

I even tried “Call 800-WALMART and ask for Driver Recruiting” – it offers me options for everything under the sun EXCEPT FOR Driver Recruiting (possibly because it's Sunday evening).

The job listing that Brian is interested in (Raymond, NH) was posted 11/07, so it's been there for awhile. I just hope they don't close it out before I can figure out how to do this thing! I know that I've typed a bunch of crapola in this post, but that's what I've been going through for a couple of hours now.

Go to driver4walmart.com -- find the DC you want to apply to -- click on OTR driver on that line and it'll take you to a job description page -- at the top and bottom of that page will be an apply for job tab -- click on that and it will begin the application process -- just follow the prompts.

They are very picky about an application being filled out completely. I would try to get to a computer and put in a complete app. Even if you put dashes where they don't belong it will be rejected. Openings are posted for 28 days on the website and then they start the process.
