Thru the grapevine I heard that as soon as they get government approval, we'll be seeing Chinese trucks complete with drivers being imported. But not all that bad, wally world will be offering the present drivers jobs as greeters. LOL:biggrin_25523:

You have part of this right Johnday. YRC owns Chinese trucking companies that transport Wal-Mart freight to the docks in China are importing these drivers over to the US to take the jobs of union drivers because they shown that they work harder, do a better job and with less crying about doing there job that they get pay good money to do. But with all of the pay cuts that unions have taken lately the Chinese drivers refuse to work for that low of wage and not kowning when they will laid off here in the states and be without work and still have to pay union dues these drivers are staying in China.

I'm still trying to find where Wal-Mart drivers are Union. I know a couple and none of them are union, they've refused to join the union when approached about it

I googled this and found where the teamsters WANT to get in, but have not had any success.

I doubt that any are union in Walmart.

It's possible that Wally World is down sizing it's fleet. I know of someone that just aquired quite a few of those late model white and blue Internationals, purchased from WalMart, with very low mileage.

Think about it, why pay drivers a good wage when you can just get the bottom feeders to haul your product, paying rookie drivers next to nothing(ie Werner, Swifty, Schnieder).
