    Septic Hauling!!!!

Just wondering if Septic Hauling would fall into the waste forum? Well I know alot of people might not have been involved in hauling septic and port o pot waste but that is where I kinda got started. Got my CDL A in 2008, went to drive for Star Transport and didn't like being OTR so much along with the fact we started to loose some of our CAT loads so I quit and come home. Local septic business was looking for a tanker driver and thats where I came into the picture. I would drive to the job sights and pump out a septic tank or grease trap and then haul the waste in a tanker to the city to dump at the waste station. Not a glorified trucking job by anymeans but a decent place to start. I drove a straight truck with a tank on it and also a semi pulling a tanker. I had to put the semi with tanker in small driveways at times when someone's basement was flooded with sewage. Just thought I would see if anyone else on here has been a cheet guy or gal before?

Every year we get a gift from one of the small local septic tank contractors.
This is because we are their best customer.
We only have about 60 people at our trucking yard but because of the shallow ground water our ancient septic tanks fill up with ground water.
Either that or all our people are just full of sh....

We got an old 1975 straight truck that is in excellent condition.
We are thinking of putting a septic tank on it for our use.
May be do some work in the area.
Where we are from they are known as Honey Suckers.
The one that comes to our place has decals on that read "We Take Your SH..E" in big letters on the side.

I will agree that it is a job for a strong stomach.... I have worked for the guy on and off for years. There are the route drivers that set up, clean and pickup the pots. They then either put the waste into the tanker or they will put it into honey wagons that are for storage to buy some time till we can transfer the waste over to the tanker. Then they have 2 sucker trucks that mainly go to jobsites and pump out septic tanks. They both are only 3,000 gallon trucks. We pump the local Nucor Steel plant and have done small town sewer plants. Everything gets hauled 40 minutes to Indianapolis. I have seen alot of **it in my day. Lmao. Did what I had to do so I could buy my first big rig.

One of these days I want to haul human waste just so I can put the "Caution: Vehicle may be transporting political promises" sticker on the back.

My friends' father had a ca ca pumping service when my friend was a teenager. Brian learned how to drive truck and equipment there and now runs an excavator for a living.I've heard some of the funniest stories about his family's profession.
