My Experiance with Watkins Shepard!

Do you remember what Chris did? He used his free time to work on his skills with the trucks. They're available to you 24/7. Take advantage of it.

 

definitely use those trucks! dont think after class and weekends are #### off time, practice and keep up with the assignments they hand out.

should be able to get up to 5th in the yard. i liked to go up to fifth and back as i went around between backs. one good thing, is practice holding your revs it will help a lot when you learn the splits for the hills.

 

Hey AT you will do great. Practice all you can. I would spend 1-2 hours a night practicing. The people in my 10 day also were very helpful in working together and helping each other out. Don't mess around use then on nights and the weekends. Get the assignments done right away to have more practice time. You have a bunch of written assignments and then some log exercises have fun with those #3 is awesome.

Good luck tomorrow you will do great!! You have been wanting this and have been doing your research! You followed enough W/S threads now to have a good idea of what your 10 days will consist of. Keep your eyes and ears open, ask lots of questions and LISTEN! Remember NO question is a dumb question! Practice on your free time (Chris did this several nights and he said it really helped him!) You have a good attitude and are doing this because you WANT to and are excited-to me that is the bulk of the ''battle!"

Have a safe and relaxing (LOL) day today as you go to orientation-hopefully you get some sleep tonight.....I said some cuz you are going to feel like a kid in candy store!

Can't wait to hear about Day One!!!

You have done things right....including getting the WS gig. I'm sure you'll give it 100%, but, from what we've learned about you, even 75% from you is better than 100% from most young men.
