heres one, detention or layover pay? do you have to be sitting a full 24 before you can get it? if i only sit say 21 which is what im looking at for this shipper am i just out of luck?
i live in denver and i dont get by nearly enough. pueblo might actually be out of the hiring range though....not sure might want to ask.
Any questions from prospects or lookers from real Watkins and Shepard drivers?

i have a question drivers!
if you are out for a few weeks or whatever and you want to get some home time...can that "hometime" be anywhere? as long as it is pretty close to a terminal/OC??
or is your hometime only classed as being at your home terminal/OC -
Layover has to be a full 24 hours, but detention is only after 4 hours then you start getting paid.

as far as I know it can be anywhere. But since we can't take the trucks home (for whatever reason) i guess its "safer" to leave it unattended at a TS while on hometime lol. I'm guessing thats what we'd have to do

i dont remember the difference between the 2. i just got in a dock and she said i will be loaded by 630 which will have put me at exactly 23 hours. i have no idea who to ask about getting it either haha.

your talking about detention pay thats when your sitting under a load at a customer, layover is sitting while MT.
Talk to the dispatcher that your sending your Daily Check calls too for this load.

perfect. because its now 615 and they havnt even started and i think she said they are all leaving at 630. this is ridiculous, im starting to wonder if i shouldnt just wait till morning and get a 34, which i very well might be doing whether i want to or not if they dont MOVE!
but if you can get paid after only 4 ive been losing out on some money haha...do you put it in the column with the layover stuff? -
AT does WS have any new trucks for the drivers or are they all atleast 3 years old? If they have new ones what kinda Trucks are they getting?
