Tuition Reimbursement is at least $3,000, that's what I'm getting.

As a former LEO I believe that you would not need to disclose that charge. If you are given a suspended imposition of sentence and put on probation and complete the probabtion without any problems, the charge is wiped from your record. I would double check with the prosecuting attorney's office in the county of which it happened. Good Luck

Hey Boomer. Thanks for comment. I have researched the whole thing extensively. In those days there was little SOP adheared to. The record SHOULD have been wiped but it wasn't. Now there are no court records to argue it. The charge isn't even right. In court; I plead to 'recieving stolen goods'. I'm not going to worry about it any more. I cannot afford the thousands of bucks to have a lawyer try to clear it up. If I can get my blood pressure down and pass my physical I might be able to go to work for W/S. Working on it. Time will tell.

What's the best way to get the process rolling aside from the obvious filing of an application...how long should I expect it to take to hear back from W/S? I realize it is the holiday season, just hoping for a pre-hire offer before I start school on the 9th of Jan.

Hammadown. I was contacted with no further prompting after filling out App. I'm sure they will be non-commital until you officially graduate. However, you may get a call B4 then. The recruiter I talked with was very nice. Very helpful. Worked with me on some issues. Was patient while I got things resolved. It was refreshing to deal with someone who actually listened to what you were saying and acted accordinly. As a result I start orientation on Jan 3rd. My previous experience qualified me for the 3 day program. BUT....... I was cautioned; You are not officially hired until they hand you 'the keys'. Perhaps a former 'student-to- hire' driver can jump in here and give you their 'usual procedure'. Good luck.
